What is Google Flaky Mode ?

I travel a lot due to my business, so i used GPRS to get my emails while i am traveling in recently, expensive but worked for me many times. Sometimes it happened that my GPRS doesn’t work, most of the times its because i didn’t paid my last month bill, or maybe due to my cell is out of charge. I can’t think of any other reason right now.

Thankfully that i am using Gmail even for my personal account which i registered with Google, and this is the reason why i am enjoying the flexibility of Gmail. Gmail has a feature through which you can register your own domain with them and the best thing is its free. I got mine with Gmail info (at) webcomers.com, if you want to check mail log-in it working, click here. I can do this job for you if you are experiencing any problem, or you dont know how to set up. you can contact me through my site Farrukh Web. Lets come towards the main agenda, what is flaky connection. I believe first i should explain why Flaky connection is used, or why we need Google Flaky connection and what does i mean by Google Flaky connection.

Google has introduced Gmail Offline Mode over an year ago, this means that you can use Gmail even if you are not connected to internet. Like offline browsing, it stores all mails on your local machine protected by your password. So when you are offline you can just click on its icon M (i will upload its icon later). This is comparatively much memory efficient and therefore i am no longer bound to paid mail clients like MS.Outlook Express and other mail clients.

Now the most important thing comes, what is Flaky Connection Mode ?
As Explained by Google Groups In Flaky Connection Mode, you’ll always be running off the local store in your browser, regardless of your connection status. We recommend using this mode if your connection is intermittent or slow. Your account will continue to sync in the background when it’s able to do so, with no disruption to your ongoing work. Means you can download all your email when your internet connection is not being used or you have spare bandwidth..
